Szamanka

...also known as "Shaman" and "She Shaman". This is Andrzej Zulawski's latest film but one, a nutty cocktail of sex, screaming and insanity from 1996. No release date or specifications are available just yet, but as with the previous three Zulawski releases from Mondo Vision you can expect a plethora of extras, an original aspect ratio presentation and, hopefully, another delectable collector's edition box.

I saw this untranslated a few years ago; a friend of mine didn't have a VCR anymore, so he sent an old ex-rental copy my way to get a DVD made. I didn't have a clue what I was getting myself into...

As always, can't wait to see that Mondo Vision release!

Blue Note and Boris Godunov, that's the only Zulawski film I've yet to see. Saw Szamanka on whatever crappy, washed out DVD release is out there and loved it anyway, can't wait to see it cleaned up. Mondo Vision has done some incredible work so far.
