Anyone have any word on the quality of Army of Darkness' BD transfer? Kinda curious about An American Werewolf in London as well.

They seem to have just recycled the old HD DVD transfers with a higher bit rate encode. (This is definitely the case with An American Werewolf in London, where I've actually matched captures that have been posted of the BD with the same frames from my HD DVD copy: for all intents and purposes, they're identical.) Neither of them looks particularly great, going by the captures I've seen.

You should check out Misery if you haven't seen it. It's pretty good.
