Hot Fuzz is amazing on HD DVD. Can I expect the same of the BD? I'd like to pick that up if so.

There's a comparison between the HD DVD and BD releases of Hot Fuzz at the AVS Forum. By the looks of it, the BD improves on the HD DVD slightly in terms of compression but otherwise looks identical. I suspect the same is probably true of Shaun of the Dead, although it always looked slightly weaker than Hot Fuzz due to (if I recall correctly) the presence of some edge enhancement.
