I'm interested in knowing what you think about it. I was disappointed in it since I fell into the hype of it being along the lines of Evil Dead II in terms of comedy. I didn't laugh much at it, and it seemed very small in scope. It felt like an episode of Masters of Horror directed by Sam Raimi rather than a throwback to his earlier work.

I must admit to being a little on the wary side of it myself, and picked it up more out of curiosity than because I expect it to be a masterpiece. Certainly, the buzz has been positive, but then the buzz was also positive for Masters of Horror, and I think we both know how that turned out.

It's on my must see list.

Raimi's The Evil Dead is a fantastic horror film, so I have high hopes for this. Had only Ellen Page stayed in the cast.

Ellen Page distracts me just for the pure reason that she always looks like a good fucking wash would kill her.

Average horror film.
It's better than the 3 last Disney,er,Spidey movies but still an average "Raimi's greatest hits" movie with dull cinematography, average FX,average screenplay...but a nice lead performance from Allison Lohman.
