Snow White's on its way, and I'm thinking I may get Audition somewhere down the line if the transfer's good.

I can't say those screen captures fill me with confidence.

It looks like it may represent the film accurately, though. But it's hard to properly tell with these screenshots--I swear they do something other than compressing the JPEGs to make them look this poor. I've bought BDs that looked downright disgusting on DVDBeaver and Blu-ray.com that actually look really good.

Any thoughts on these screencaps of Trick 'r Treat?

I'm viewing on a terrible monitor right now, so I can't pick out quite how it looks. But I can gauge it doesn't look promising, even on this...

Re. Trick 'r Treat:

Doesn't look very good, does it? Just generally underwhelming all round, with nothing to mark it out as absolutely dreadful but nothing to lift it out of mediocrity. It looks very... well, very Warner.

Yeah, it definitely got the typical Warner treatment. I'd imagine it looks better than the DVD, so I may go ahead and purchase it, but who knows if I'd even like the movie. I may just rent it from Netflix.
