Sacre bleu, it's big!

The good news is that it fits in my current case. With about a centimetre to spare. Which is a relief, because I'm still very happy with my Sonata III. It does a great job of cancelling out fan noise, it's an ideal size, and the tool-free drive trays are very convenient.

I must admit I don't actually drink Dr. Pepper myself. To me, it tastes like the mouthwash you get at the dentist. I stole the can from my brother's desk because it was a convenient way of demonstrating the sheer size of this monstrosity of a heatsink.

I enjoy Dr. Pepper from time to time because it has an atypical cola flavor.

Dr Pepper tastes like biological leftover waste. It's disgusting.

Its funny that people are commenting on Dr Pepper and not the heatsink.

Hahah, FoxyMulder.

Not everyone can afford to wine and dine, you know?

I already knew this heat sink was ginormous from Michael's earlier entry.

I absolutely love Dr Pepper, but it seems to divide opinions.

What, is there anything else in the picture? :D

I just have to defend Dr. Pepper.

How quiet is the fan?

Very quiet indeed, if the reviews are to be believed - particularly if you use the included adaptors to limit the fan speed to 900 RPM (which I'll probably do provided I can get decent cooling at that speed when the CPU is overclocked). However, I won't be actually installing it until I've got together all the other components for my upgrade. I've got the video card now, but I still need to pick up the power supply, CPU, motherboard and RAM.
