Tenebrae region coding update
9:28 PM / Blu-ray /

A brief correction to my review of the French BD release of TENEBRAE: the disc is in fact coded for all regions, NOT Region B only as I previously reported (thanks to Kannisto for pointing this out). The reason for the confusion stems from the packaging, which erroneously labels the disc as Region B. Apologies for the confusion.

Great to hear about the Tenebrae Blu-ray! (not the region coding, but the image quality and the availability of the film on BD)
I just ordered it at fnac. I'll have to remove the subs by watching it via HTPC, but that shouldn't be a problem. I also ordered the Lost Highway and Danton Blu-rays, didn't know those were out in France as well. Great! :)
Fire Walk With Me is also just out on BD in France, but I haven't seen Twin Peaks (the TV series) yet, so I will wait with that one.
I also noticed the three Gaumont Astérix films just got released in France as well. Couldn't find out anything about subtitles, image quality or bonus features for them though. Google informed me that they are announced for release on Blu-ray in Germany in April next year, so I decided to wait. But maybe this is of interest to you, if you don't already know about the French BDs anyway.
