I'm betting this movie will suck (like its predecessors).

If it sucks as much as it's predeccessors then i'm buying it. ( i enjoyed the first three movies - especially first and the last one )

I don't think this will work as good in 2D, in the trailer a lot of things seem to come towards the camera and i'd be sitting there thinking, hey that shot probably has bullets that come out of the screen at you and it would ruin my enjoyment of the film.

I am starting to think that they need to shoot movies in 2D AND 3D, different camera setups for both, optimize for 2D and then shoot the scene again for 3D, sure it's expensive but it's the only way to fully maximise 2D content and 3D.

Actually, Foxy, apart from the opening segment and part of the finale, I never felt like I was being bombarded with pseudo-3D images. I really enjoyed this one, just like the others. Sub-par acting of course, and some iffy CGI but entertaining.

I'm not under any illusions about this film. I expect it will be incredibly silly in the manner of the previous two instalments (I always thought the first one was actually a pretty decent film provided you were able to ignore the fact that it had little to do with the RESIDENT EVIL games), but I must confess I find them a lot more enjoyable than a number of more "worthy" films I could mention.

They weren't perfect but I enjoyed 1-3, but the CGI film looked like an unpolished previs.
Had high hopes when I heard about a 4th live action film, but that was quickly crushed when I saw the trailer full of made for 3D bull effects. The only way I'll see it is in 2D and from what I've seen it'll probably cheesy without 3D.

I've enjoyed all the live-action Resi movies.

Less said about Regeneration, the better.
