Yes, I'm well aware that this film is likely to be incredibly stupid, but it looks so incredibly stupid it would be a shame to pass it up. Plus, like an increasing number of titles, LoveFilm inexplicably isn't carrying it for rental - a problem also affecting my next purchase...

It's a "fun" movie. Scott (with the exception of CRIMSON TIDE and possibly REVENGE) tends to nail those more often than his more ambitious outings. Such as MAN ON FIRE, which didn't mesh well with his "I have an Avid and will try every button and knob!" manic editing he luckily has since toned down... a bit.
