Dig the webcam thing.
The volume seems a little low though.
And I admit to actually listening more than watching (I'm at work).

Looking good there, Michael, you handsome devil.

Play around with the light a little. Sometimes you can fool the color balance to your advantage, maybe get some small color gels for the lamps and presto: you can easily muster a reasonable SUSPIRIA look-a-like set-up for no money at all.

Endless possibilities with this format.

Yeah, I'm distinctly unimpressed by the sound. See my reply to Bleddyn here.

Thomas:

Oh you! :D

Yeah, I'm going to keep experimenting both with the light and the setting. I'm basically limited to a combination of the overhead lightbulb and whatever natural light I can get, but I might pick up a desk lamp and see what sort of results I can get from it. Not really planning on going down the gel lighting route... unless I do an Argento or Bava special, that is. :P

I am accustomed to written words only but I'm fairly sure that I will eventually get used to the change. :)

Doesn't your webcam have a manual aperture setting?

Well, my written words aren't going anywhere so no adjustment should be necessary on your part. :)

Chuck:

Nope!

Very cool idea on the webcam extension.
I just ordered the UK set today after trading in some games at Tesco (enter gift card number at tescoentertainment checkout). Had £21 credit on the card so brought it down to £23.99 which I was more than happy with.
Looking forward to marathon-ing them, next weekend maybe.

"...and it can be proven, scientifically, if you use the eye dropper on a screen capture."
Perhaps, but they are motion pictures after all ;)
