The image quality is pretty inconsistent from short to short, but that's to be expected given the varying quality of the source materials used (the original negatives for the pre-1951 shorts having been lost in the MGM vault fire of 1967). One or two of the early ones (including the first, PUSS GETS THE BOOT) are utterly baked with DNR, but the rest are remarkably unscathed, and when they look good, they look REALLY good. Definitely a highly recommended buy, and great to see these shorts finally getting treated by Warner with a modicum of respect.
