#1101: The Killing: Complete Season One
(DVD, Arrow Films, Region 2, UK)
I bought a DVD!
In my defence THE KILLING, the second season of which is currently airing on BBC Four in the UK, is an excellent show and alas not available on BD. Incidentally, this is the original Danish version and not the American remake, which I haven't bothered with.

The second series is a lot shorter than the first which can only be a good thing - while it was entertaining the sheer length of the first series seemd to encourage almost comical repetition: for example, a red-herring immigrant suspect was kidnapped and threatened by the victim's father at the end of least three episodes.
