My brother had this on HD DVD, but I never got round to picking it up on either format. I'd normally have gone for the US release by Paramount for the lossless audio (plus the fact that, in a straight-up fight, I'd expect Paramount to trump Warner in the encoding stakes), but that version appears to be out of print and only available for silly money.

I bought the UK package first, then sold it and got the US release, the main reason being the fact that the extras are on a 2nd disc in the US, and not crammed in alongside the feature like the UK. Though to be honest, I couldn't really see the difference on a 50" monitor. They both looked excellent.

DVDBeaver lists the difference as International Feature Size: 24GB vs. North American Feature Size: 46GB. Just in case that's interesting.
