Merry Christmas, everyone! Here is what I have accumulated this year.

Ah, the Samsung BD external writer: I've had it for more than a year now - at first I struggled (personal pride) to get BD playing on a very old Athlon (XP sp3), but at last I succeded and now movies play seameless, except for menus.

And about trains and locomotives, Michael, did you know this graphic novel by Francois Shuiten? http://www.12-ladouce.com/

Merry Christmas

No, it's not something I was familiar with. Cheers for pointing it out - it looks interesting.

KRAM SACUL:

Yep, the best kind.

Is The Killing trilogy Blu?
I'm very very jealous, hopefully I'll pick it up when the price drops.

I'm assuming TDKR was a gift? I thought you weren't going to watch any more Nolan movies, and then this stinker turns up? Lovely IMAX footage, though. I'd pay again just to sit and watch the IMAX rushes of cityscapes etc.

Yep, it's the BD release. A bit pricey, but if you ask me it's worth it for 40 of the best hours of television in recent years. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Seasons 1 and 2 had indeed been shot in HD, given that the BBC only showed them in SD over here.

MATTHEW:

Actually, no, I bought it, mainly because despite what I might feel about the bulk of Nolan's filmography, I genuinely enjoyed BATMAN BEGINS and wanted to see how the trilogy ended. And I quite enjoyed TDKR too, far more so than TDK. (Plus it's not available to rent via LoveFilm, so I didn't really have any other option if I wanted to see it.)
