The Eye is one of the better horror films I have seen in a while (the other one is The Grudge). I wonder why we don't get to see these kind of horror films now? They used to be all the craze for a while before.

Apologies for belated response. I did type one earlier but bloody hit undo (typing on iPad) by mistake. Anyway, general gist of it: happy you enjoyed THE EYE and I agree THE GRUDGE is another strong entry in J-Horror boom at the turn of the Millenium. Have you seen the original TV movies JU-ON & JU-ON 2?

For some Asian Horror is dead but it certainly gave the genre the shot in the arm it needed a decade or so ago. Horror is nothing if not cyclical and I'm sure horror from the East will have more interesting films that take root in the West to come. Key man, Hideo Nakata (RINGU & DARK WATER) has a new horror film about in 2013 so fingers crossed.
