Top 10 films of 2012 - #10

And there we have it - my ten favourite films of 2012, by UK release date (hence the inclusion of the likes of SHAME, which actually came out in some countries in 2011).

If you're interested, my entire Top 20, as it currently stands, looks like this:

Thanks for the list - always an interesting one. A number of titles on that list are ones I want to see but the inclusion of Polisse piques my interest. Argo is on my to see list and I am happy to see you have Prometheus so high u p -to me it was a wonderful film for the first half then it didn't quite fulfill that potential to the end. I was also confused by Charlize Theron's character / lack of point. Will try and find your Promethus review to see your thoughts (now I've seen it).

Definitely interested in seeing "Polisse", but the only blu-ray worth getting, the French release, is a bit pricey (German blu-ray has no subtitles, not even German subs).
I'll be keeping an eye on the Amazon.fr page, hopefully it'll drop in price a little bit soon.

I ended up getting the more affordable UK DVD release from Artificial Eye. I know DVD is a dirty word nowadays but sadly both POLISSE and LOVE are only available in the UK on this format.
