Well, the US transfer for Death Walks on High Heels looks quite a bit better than that of Death Walks at Midnight, but it's still inferior to the original Italian version. Whereas Death Walks at Midnight's US transfer was darker than its Italian counterpart, this one is lighter and noticeably desaturated. As usual, there is some loss of vertical detail, and stair-stepping on diagonal edges (not really visible in these captures). Once again, though, the fact that the US release has English subtitles is obviously going to shift the balance in its favour for most viewers. If only NoShame would subtitle their Italian releases in English!
