An early NoShame release: standards conversion artefacts and contrast boosting ahoy! (Looks to me like NoShame are fans of Canopus Procoder.) The US release really doesn't look very nice at all, especially in motion, where the whole thing is reduced to a smear, and even when there is no movement, there is continual inter-line jitter. Not very impressive at all! The Italian DVD by Alan Young Pictures, which NoShame ripped and used as their source, features a much nicer transfer, but unfortunately is not English-friendly. Perhaps one day, when someone sends NoShame a copy of VirtualDub, they can go back and do a better NTSC transfer for free!
No debate: get yourself a copy of the US release before they sell out.
